It seems like iOS 4.3 brings some serious disadvantages to web based apps. As a result, many web based apps run slower after installation of the new iOS version.
This news comes from The Register. According to the site, there is a difference when users open a web app directly in Safari or launch it from the homescreen. It seems like both use a different rendering engine resulting in the lack of the Nitro rendering engine amongst others.
