Apple Boots Camera+ Off the App Store

August 12th, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: iOS | No Comments »

A few days back, we wrote about developer Tap Tap that had an update of Camera+ fail during the Apple approval process as the app held an option that allowed the volume buttons to be used to take a picture.

Apple found out the original version already supported this functionality that could be activated by browsing to camplus://enablevolumesnap. As a result, Camera+ has been removed from the App Store as it was violating the developer agreement.
