According to the Swedish media, Apple has bought mobile app developer Polar Rose. Polar Rose is well known for its facial recognition apps that it released on Android.
According to the media, Apple paid 17 million for the company that is running on only 20 employees. Since rumors say the next iPhone will be all about speed and security, Polar Rose technology could become part of the operating system.
