As usual, Apple kicked off its iPod event with several statistics in regards to their products. Untill now, Apple shipped over 120 million iPods, iPhones and iPads.
Apple is activating 230.000 iOS devices a day. Google activates 200.000 Android devices a day while Symbian activates 300.000 devices a day.
The App Store has passed 250.000 apps. 10% of that are iPad apps. Apple has registered 6.500.000 downloads so far. The iPod Touch represented 1.500.000 downloads. Apple counted 160.000 accounts with registered credit cards divided over 23 countries.
