The RIM team announced that they have anabled access to App World for consumers in Brazil, Venezuela, Argentine, Chile and Mexico. This is the first step toward full coverage of Latin America.
The only itchy bit about this news is that the Latin store will only support free apps and games for now. Paid apps are on the planning and will be enabled later on. We're not sure if this is a technical limitation or a marketing strategy for the store itself.
