App Store Passed 10.000.000.000 Downloads

Last Saturday, Apple’s App Store passed ten billion downloads. The App Store currently holds over 300.000 apps and was launched in July 2008 following the release of the first iPhone.

These huge numbers show that Apple remains the top performing platform, though competition remains fierce. Apple counted not only iPhone, but also iPod Touch and iPad downloads.
