Android’s Paid Apps Launches in the UK

March 11th, 2009 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: AndroidOS | No Comments »

Android
As of tomorrow, UK consumers can start purchasing paid mobile games and applications according to one of our readers who works at T-Mobile UK. For many Android developers, this will be the first time to see money flowing in from Europe.

As in the US, Google will use it's PayPal like service called Google Checkout. Via this service, consumers will be able to pay for their purchases.

With the availability of the service in the UK, consumers in many other European countries will soon be able to “enjoy” paying for their games.
