According to the most recent tweet from the Android Development team, the Android Market has surpassed 100.000 apps, this while Apple just announced their app store holds 300.000 apps.
So the race between the giants continues while more and more other companies are opening alternative stores for Android Apps (i.e. GetJar, Amazon etc).
