Since the launch of the HTC G1 on T-Mobile, the Android market is now available to mobile game developers all over the world. This means that Google has also stated their business model.
For developers, Google has probably the easiest and cheapest market to deploy their mobile games toward consumers. Revenue wise, Google will charge every developer $ 25 per title launched. Google will not check on quality at all, though if the consumer complaints, there will be chargeback's.
Starting in Q1, developers can also post commercial titles online. Those commercial titles will not cost developers more then the $ 25 they have to pay to get it launched. The revenue split 70/30 is purely between the developer and the operator. From the operator part (30%), the billing fees will also have to be paid.
