Discovery of games has always been the number one issue Android developers complaint about. With the release of Anroid 1.6, the team will also update Android Market to allow better marketing of the titles on it.
With the update, developers will be allowed to upload screenshots and promotional icons to the market and also allow more extensive descriptions with the games. The team also added 4 new categories to better file applications; Sports, Health, Themes and Comics. Also, Italian developers are now able to upload their creations.
The new marketing materials can already be uploaded on the Android Publisher site.
