It was to be expected, but just before the week of the Mobile World Congress 2009 starts, Google is opening it's payment options to mobile game developers and publishers in the UK and the US.
Developers and publishers from Germany, Austria, The Netherlands, France and Spain will be able to upload paid apps and mobile games along Q1 2009.
“I'm pleased to announce that Android Market is now accepting priced applications from US and UK developers.” said Eric Chu at the Android Developers Blog. “priced applications will be available to end users in the US starting mid next week. We will add end user support for additional countries in the coming months.”
The free mobile games and applications will also be available for consumers in Australia starting this week and Singapore shortly after.
Congratulations
