It seems MeeGo is getting support from an unexpected side. Intel’s competitor AMD has announced it will help develop the mobile operating system, probably to help selling its new line of APU’s.
AMD has been a partner of the Linux foundation (which is responsible for MeeGO) for a long time, but this step came as a surprise for many. Intel and Nokia both announced to be rolling out the first MeeGo products in 2011.
Congratulations
