The first victim of the battle of the social gaming networks has left the field. Agon Online announced it will be shutting down it’s servers on June 30th 2011.
It is clear AGON has not been able to cope with the competition from networks like OpenFeint and Scoreloop. The company behind it put an emotional message online in which they explain that getting AGON’s bills paid was a problem far bigger than expected.
