Yesterday market the start of a new market for Apple. By introducing parental controls, the company is finally opening up the App Store to mobile adult entertainment.
Yesterday, the first adult app was launched on the app store. The app was titles Hottest girls, but was pulled offline only hours after the launch.
Though in first case all fingers pointed to Apple, it appears that the developers themselves put the App offline according to TechCrunch. The developer wrote the following on it's website;
Yet, the story gets weird when a spokesman of Apple talked to CNN about the issue;
So Apple is allowing Nudity, but pulling this title anyway? When reading through the text, Apple claims that the content shown after the approval process wasn't the same as before. This means that Apple will probably have some limit to what is allowed to show. Many operators have similar rules when it comes to showing nudity. This company probably broke those rules with their new content.
Congratulations
