Asus Nexus 7 Surfaces

May 30th, 2012 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Smartphones & Tablets | No Comments »

It seems the development of the new Asus Android tablet is nearing completion as the Asus Google Nexus 7 surfaces. AndroidPolice found the device which is codenamed ‘Grouper’.

The modelname of the new tablet is Nexus 7 and it is built by Asus (following the Nexus smartphones built by HTC and Samsung). With a resolution of 768×1200, the screensize is plain weird. The name of the device does however suggest it is a 7 inch model. The Asus Google Nexus 7 seems to run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and bears a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 1.3 Ghz CPU with a Nvidia ULP GeForce GPU.
