Gree has completed a new acquisition in the US market. Funzio, an outfit specialized in hardcore cross-platform social games, has been acquired by Gree for $210 million.
Funzio is known for titles like Modern War and Kingdom Age on iOS and Crime City on Android. The payroll of Funzio covers 130 employees, making it one of the bigger studios to be acquired. In previous investment rounds, Funzio collected $20 million in working capital.
