Of course, there are sub-€300 touchscreen monitors in the market, but most of them have a huge problem when it comes to supporting Windows 8. They are mostly based in IR detection which is limited to two fingers while Windows 8 certified monitors need to support five fingers. While those are more expensive, there’s a solution on the iPad.
It’s called the Win8 Metro Testbed app from Splashtop. The app transforms the iPad in a monitor for your Windows 8 Consumer Preview PC. It doesn’t only allow you to test Windows 8 apps for PC, but also for the tablets that we are likely to see next year. The app sets you back €19,99.
Congratulations
