Microsoft has started their 'race to market' competition for their new Windows Marketplace. This means developers can start submitting their games to the marketplace and try to win prizes at the same time.
The games (and apps) you submit will go through certification on a first in, first out basis. The process takes about ten days, so make sure your product will get through in one go. It not only saves you time, but will also shorten the lines for other developers ;-).
Now, about that race to market competition. The guys at Microsoft are handing out some very special prizes as four developers will win developer editions of the Microsoft Surface Tables! Oh and you will get some marketing support, trophies etc etc.
As there are four of those tables to be given out, there are four categories on which you can win them. The following categories/criteria have been defined;
Most Downloads for a Free App
Most Valuable App (Revenue)
Most Useful
Most Playful
The contest started yesterday and will run till december 31st. This means you are already getting behind on the first two categories.
Congratulations
