THQ has posted it's Q1 financial results for 2009. Though the total revenue is up 77%, The THQ Wireless business went down 18% to $4.2 million which isn't as bad as it sounds.
THQ Wireless made $5.1 million worth of revenues in Q108. The division has however been restructured early 2009. Though there is a bit less revenue, the company only focuses on the iPhone platform now and so, has less costs for running the business (they even deleted their whole wireless website and only show a splash pointing toward iTunes).
Though we can expect the next report to show lower sales data as well, the profitability of the division has certainly increased and that is important as well.
Congratulations
