Symantec Acquires Nukona

March 21st, 2012 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Companies & M&A | No Comments »

Symantec has also announced a new mobile acquisition today. The anti-virus giant made a swoop for app-management firm Nukona to enable itself to offer cross-platform IT protection.

Nukona already offers companies tools to keep a check on data and apps across corporate mobile devices. Something that will grow in importance as ‘bring your own device’ becomes popular in bigger organizations. How much Symantec paid for the acquisition is unknown at the moment.
