Stuart Dredge, the well known journalist from the Pocket Gamer sites is officially leaving PocketGamer.biz for competitor Mobile Entertainment Magazine.
During July, Stuart has already been releasing several non-gaming related stories. Starting today, he will go all the way. Next to ME, he also recently started a mailing list aimed at iPhone developers and publishers. Jon Jordan already started taking over Stuart's position at PocketGamer.biz. Coming from publications like EDGE and Develop, we are sure he will form an excellent replacement.
He will not totally leave the PocketGamer group of websites. We will still see him write consumer focused stories for the .co.uk site and he also still writes for Music Ally, Recombu and What Mobile.
In 2008, we held a little poll to find out who was the best gaming journalist. Though I came up first, that was probably due to the fact that we hosted the poll ourselves which tainted the results. Stuart ended up second which probably translates to first place if we did the poll via a neutral site.
We wish him best of luck in his new career.
Congratulations
