In order to get more developers interested in developing new and innovative apps for Microsoft’s Windows Phone and XBLA platforms, the company has rebooted the Dream.Build.Play competition it successfully launched back in 2011. Developers will compete for a total of $112.500 in cash prizes.
The best Windows Phone developer will take home $20.000 followed by $10.000 for the first runner up, $5.000 for the second runner up and $2.500 for the third runner up. All top 20 finalists receive a Windows Phone device (per team), a publishing contract on Xbox Live Arcade / Windows Phone and a chance to be part of the Xbox 360 Registered Developer Program.
Registrations for the competition run until May 15th while submissions are open till June 12th.
