If today's rumours are true, the guys behind QuickOffice might be making a lot less money in the future as Nokia and Microsoft are rumoured install Microsoft Office on it's handsets.
These rumours are triggered by the fact that the both will make 'an announcement' in a telco later today. The person from Microsoft is Stephen Elop who is responsible for Office (amongst other MS products). Microsoft already announced that their new we office suite would be available to all mobile phones.
In the past, the both have worked on bringing Live services to mobile as well as Silverlight.
UPDATE – These plans are confirmed, but next to Microsoft Office Mobile, Microsoft business communications, collaboration and device management software will also be coming to to Nokia’s Symbian devices.
