BlackBerry OS 10 Not for Old Devices

February 12th, 2012 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: BlackBerry | No Comments »

According to RIM’s leaked roadmap, Blackberry OS will see the light along autumn of this year and a first BlackBerry OS 10 device is to be expected by the end of the year. Sad new for current owners though as their hardware will not run 10.

The hardware of current and future devices leading up to the launch of BB 10 will not be able to run BB 10. Good news for developers though as BlackBerry OS 7 apps will have no problem running on BlackBerry 10. In the end it will not be a consumer satisfier though…
