It seems like Apple is finally speaking out about problems faced by developers. One of their executives, Phil Schiller, seems to have started to contact developers to discuss their issues.
In this case, there was the developer of Ninjawords. According to the developer, the app was rejected by Apple because it was containing a lot of swear words. Apple had asked the developer to put some censorship in the game. Following this story, Phil replied directly to the developer;
“Apple did not censor the content in this developer’s application and Apple did not reject this developer’s application for including references to common swear words. You accused Apple of both in your story and the fact is that we did neither.”
In the full reply, Phil details out where the developer when wrong in his accusations towards Apple's submissions team.
With this move, Apple shows that they do listen to the community and it also shows that comments by developers about the submissions process are not always right.
Congratulations
