July 31st, 2011 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: AndroidOS, Smartphones & Tablets | 2 Comments »

It took them 85 days, but Samsung now confirms it has managed to sell 5 million Galaxy S II devices. That news comes only 30 days after hitting 3 million sales.

The numbers are coming directly from Samsung, making them pretty reliable. The Galaxy S II has beaten the Galaxy S to this milestone by 40 days. Samsung aims at selling 10 million units in 7 months.
