Consumers Not Happy with Airpush

May 3rd, 2011 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Ad Funded Gaming, Platforms: AndroidOS | No Comments »

Though Airpush was announced only days ago, several developers already implemented the new advertising system and got valueable, but expected feedback from consumers. “It Sucks!”

Airpush allows developers to earn money as the app pushes ads into the Android notification bar that’s instantly devalued from being one of the most important pasrts of the userexperience to one of the most obnoxious parts. To settle with the users, Airpush will update their API’s and at the start of an app, users have to optin/optout for the service.
