April 22nd, 2011 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Distribution | No Comments »

Union, the distribution arm of unity, has announced the release of five games on the Xperia Play. All five games are optimized for the device using the special Xperia Play API from Unity.

The first wave of Unity-based games announced during the Xperia Play launch included Racer by Luma Arcade, Guerrilla Bob by Angry Mob Studios and AirAttack HD by Art in Games. Now, two more games are available. Battle Bears by SkyVu Pictures and Cordy by Silver Tree Studios.

“We’re proud to see this first wave of games reach gamers on the Xperia PLAY through Union,” said Brett Seyler, General Manager of Union. “We’re expecting big things for the gaming ecosystem on this device and for future Sony Ericsson devices as well.”
