Sony Entertainment Europe’s CEO Andrew House announced that Sony will launch games in both retail stores and in it’s online store at the same time following massive defeat from retailers on the PSPgo hardware.
When buying retail, Sony ships the games on an NVG memorystick. A new format to protect it’s software similar to the way Nintendo handles their games on the 3DS. NVG sticks come in 2GB and 4GB formats and developers need to leave space for updates and savegames. Downloaded games are stored on other memory.
