The MeeGo Project has moved MeeGo Netbook UX into maintenance mode. This means the netbook OS will only receive updates for important bugfixes.
With this move, the OS shows it has no faith in the netbookmarket as netbook sales have rapidly declined over tablet sales. MeeGo has made no official announcements about this move, but it is clear in the release engineering plans for MeeGo 1.2 that netbook support is gone. This is also reflected in the feature status for MeeGo 1.1 where the netbook interface hasn’t been mentioned.
Congratulations
