Nudity has been a very controversial issue for Apple as last year, the company banned most adult oriented apps from the app store except for the major brands. The major brands did have to sensor their content though.
According to Hugh Heffner’s latest tweets, the company will soon be releasing a new version of the Playboy app on the iPad that allows consumers to view current and past editions without any censorship. If so, this could start many new discussions about bringing adult content to the platform.
