Namco Banda Moves Development Back to Japan

December 16th, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Analysis & Editorial | No Comments »

Namco Bandai has announced that it will be moving all game development back to Japan. The company is dissatisfied with the results of development studios outside of Japan.

The main dissatisfaction for Namco comes from the development time and quality of the games themselves. Namco will still allow foreign studios to pitch for new games, but will be less likely to accept them and if they do, put them under tight supervision.
