Microsoft has launched it's marketplace today and one of the first publishers announcing their released is Glu. Might this be why their stock (GLUU) is up since yesterday?
The company has put two titles on the Marketplace; Transformers Revenge of the Fallen and World Series of Poker. Both titles have done well on other platforms.
“Windows Marketplace for Mobile provides a great distribution channel for Glu games and we are excited to continue our support of Microsoft’s efforts to innovate in line with changing consumer demand,” said Greg Ballard, President and CEO, Glu Mobile. “We look forward to continue providing consumers the opportunity to easily access quality games via the Windows Marketplace for Mobile.”
“Windows Marketplace for Mobile represents a great opportunity for mobile application publishers, developers and users everywhere,” said Jason Lim, director of ISV and developer experience at Microsoft. “We welcome Glu Mobile’s first releases on Windows Marketplace for Mobile and look forward to continued innovative and quality titles in the future.”
Congratulations
