Archos has announced a new update for the 70/101 tablets and 28/32/43 personal media players. The update will install Android 2.2.1 with Flash 10.1 support but without the actual Flash plug-in.
Reason for the plug-in being absent is Adobe, where the plug-in is still in the certification process. The devices currently run Android Éclair.
