Windows Phone 7 Jailbreak Hits the Web

November 29th, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: Windows Phone | No Comments »

One of the reasons Netflix is on Windows Phone and not on Android is the security Microsoft built. Now, it seems like hackers have managed to create a jailbreak tool for Windows Phone owners.

The tool, dubbed ChevronWP7, has been released last Thursday and is (according to the site) released by a group off app developers. They developers state that the tool is not to promote pirated apps but to provide users with the freedom to install apps in the way Microsoft would not prefer them to. We all know where this is going right?
