One of BMW’s latest features is a digital dashboard in their cars that provide all the entertainment as well as navigation. Following in Apple’s footsteps (at least we thing), the company has now demonstrated an application store.
The App Store they showed at the Frankfurt Motor Show is still a concept, but might be an interesting target as mobile developers will be able to target another screen and so take care of entertaining the kids in the car. It is however questionable if governments will like the idea as watching TV in-car is already banned in a lot of countries.
Congratulations
