Quarter of Android Purchases get Refunded

October 18th, 2009 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: AndroidOS | No Comments »

Android It seems a very unlucky android developer experienced a refund rate of about 25% on its mobile game while providing a LITE version. This was reported by French site Pockett.net.

With all those refunds, the developer seems a lot of missed profits. In theory, there are two main causes for these refunds. The first would be disappointment. In that case, the LITE version doesn’t seem to have been picked up right as demo versions. The second reason might be that gamers can finish the game within the retention period and so, get to play for free.
