German based Synapsy has announced the launch of a new pre-installed App Store called 3Apps. The App Store will be launching on the SonyEricsson T715, Naite and Saito devices in the 3 Denmark and Sweden networks.
The preinstalled 3App stores will provide their own UI for browsing through Synapsy’s content catalogue. That way, the company has more control over the total shopping experience and clearly that is what Hutchinson is looking for.
Jakob Hagemann, Head of Applications 3 Denmark said: "We don't start our own Application Store just to have one too. We believe that it's important to go beyond experiences known from mobile browsers and offer a user-experience and usability that – itself – is fun for our customers already. This combined with one-click accessibility from device's home screens, useful features like "MyApps" that lists all installed applications and games in one single place to be launched from there, a daily growing number of high quality content and offering this not only on high-level devices but especially on mass-market feature phones, we believe to have something unique in place that our users will love."
