10 Million Mobile Devices Support Flash

October 27th, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: Adobe Flash & Air | No Comments »

According to Adobe, over 10 million mobile devices are supporting Flash. Android gave Adobe a huge push as the company registered 2 million Android downloads since 10.1 was released in June of this year.

Adobe is also very successful with pre-loading deals. Samsung’s Galaxy S for example supports Flash off-the-shelf. To help developers, Adobe also announced In-Market. A new platform that allows Flash apps to be distributed to a number of app stores, though mobile app stores seem absent from it.
