Though we have been writing about the outcome of Apple’s earnings call earlier today, we didn’t mention any numbers yet. So here we go…
In their fiscal Q4 (Q3 for the normal calendar), the company sold 14.1 million iPhones. That is up 91% year-on-year! The company also sold 4.2 million iPad’s which is slightly below public expectations but not a real disaster. Apple also sold just under 9.1 million iPod’s. The percentage of iPod Touch’s is unknown.
On the App Store, the company turned over $20.3 billion, up from $12.2 billion year-on-year. No news on the revenues from the iAd platform. Have they been included in App Store revenues? We just don’t know.
Congratulations
