PapayaMobile has announced a new suite to help Android developers monetize their apps on the market with the help of companies like Zong, Billing Revolution and Adknowledge.
The ‘Offer SDK’ will allow developers to implement in-app payments through virtual and real currencies as well as one-click payments with support in dozens of countries. With the help of adknowledge, ads can be integrated as well. How much revenue will stick with PapayaMobile has not been announced yet.
“Papaya continues to open its social platform to game and application developers worldwide. We are committed to providing the most diversified channels for monetization and the tools to implement these channels,” said Si Shen, co-founder and CEO at PapayaMobile. “Partnering with these key players in the mobile monetization space allows developers who integrate with the Papaya social network to have a comprehensive solution for all their monetizing needs.”
“Developers have continually cited poor payment options as one of the barriers to effective monetization on Android,” said David Marcus, CEO at Zong. “The combination of Zong’s one-click carrier payment solution and Papaya’s in-app purchase support finally provides developers the right tools for maximum revenue generation on Android.”
“Single-Click Checkout by Billing Revolution provides a ubiquitous solution for conducting mobile-based credit card transactions from a single account,” said Andy Kleitsch, CEO at Billing Revolution. “In partnering with PapayaMobile, our combined solution enables Android developers the monetization solution they have long been waiting for.”
“Adknowledge is a leader in monetization solutions for developers across multiple channels,” said Chris Smutny, VP of Virtual Currency and Online Gaming at Super Rewards. “Our advertiser and publisher solutions reach users where they spend the most amount of time – in email, on the web, and on online games. We’re excited to partner with Papaya because this partnership enables us to extend our reach even further — to users on Android mobile applications.”
