Starting last month, we started tracking and covering Nokia's Ovi Re-Download functionality that was spotted in the wild. Following the official launch last week, the policy has already received it's first update.
From now on, the DRM allows licenses to be owned by a person rather then a phone. When the service was officially released, consumers could only re-download on the phone on which the applications, games and other content was bought. Now however, the licenses can be transferred to a new phone as long as the content is compatible with it.
