iPhone users have gained yet another method to discover popular apps on the App Store. The website AppStoreHQ is now listing mobile games and apps based on their popularity on Twitter.
At first, this sounds like a list that is very easy to manipulate. Yet the developers only count tweets that hold a link directly to iTunes or an AppStore HQ page. There are a few other criteria as well which are outlined here, but it’s all pretty straightforward.
