Following the recent policy changes for iOS developers, it seems like the EU is planning to end the antitrust investigation it was planning against Apple.
The fact that Apple relaxed the rules for development (allowing third party tools) and putting less restrictions on third party ads as well as improved guarantee arrangements (repairs to foreign iPhones) is a sign of good faith to the European Union. Whether the FTC will also withdraw is unknown for now.
