Gameloft did 20 Million Downloads on the App Store

September 21st, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: iOS | No Comments »

Gameloft announced that the company did 20 million downloads since it started selling games on Apple’s App Store back in 2008. They now have over 100 titles online.

According to Gameloft, the company is pretty successful in pitching their games into the charts. Of the 47 games they released in 2010, 42 entered the top 5. 25 of them even got to the first place. Gameloft is expected to release another 15 games along the year.

“The first half of 2010 marks a new step for us on the App Store. The launch of the iPad  and iPhone 4 has opened new horizons for developers and allowed us once again to transform our consumers gaming experience. 20 million paid downloads is proof that our games meet the expectations of our players and we will continue to satisfy them.” Said Michel Guillemot
