Glu is one of the few partners that Microsoft allows to publish games with Xbox Live support on the Windows Phone 7 platform. As so, Glu has announced it will publish two games for it.
The company kicks off with Guitar Hero 5 and Glyder: Adventure Worlds. The choise for Guitar Hero (an Activision title) is pretty smart as on the iPhone, Guitar Hero lost a lot of market share to TapTap Revenge that was the first music game on the deck.
“To be chosen to be part of the Launch Wave for the WP7 platform is incredible,” said Adam Flanders, general manager, Glu. “We are excited to bring our simply addictive mobile games to Microsoft devices. We can deliver an authentic experience in a new era of gaming by reaching a vast audience of mobile gamers around the world with these new devices.”
