During his keynote at the Deutsche Bank Technology Conference, EA’s CFO Eric Brown told the public that Android could be a very interesting platform if it only had an App Store.
Though it sounds like Eric doesn’t know about Android Market, we think EA is hinting at plans to possibly deliver their own App Store experience. Something Gameloft has done as well and allows that publisher much more freedom. We also noticed companies like Kaon launching their own App Stores on their own Android hardware so let’s see where EA is planning to go next.
