Unreal Engine Ready to go Mobile

September 15th, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: AndroidOS, Platforms: iOS | No Comments »

It took them some time, but it seems like mobile development with the Unreal Developer Kit is about to set off as Epic shows off their UDK on a Samsung Galaxy S device.

Unreal has already been showcasing their UDK for iOS through the Epic Citadel app on the App Store. That demo has generated 1.000.000 downloads so far and we have to agree it is looking impressive. At the moment, the UDK is installed at 350.000 developers which makes it very popular. All those developers will soon have access to the mobile version as well.
