Samsung: 10 Million Galaxy Tabs Out the Door By Q3 2011

September 8th, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: AndroidOS | No Comments »

Samsung has good faith in their new Samsung Galaxy Tab. The company expects to have sold about ten million units before the third quarter of 2011 comes to an end.

This means Samsung expects their Galaxy Tab to be at least as popular as Appleā€™s iPad. To do so, the device is expected to be priced around the same level as the iPod Touch. Samsung could also benefit from the fast growing Android Community that is likely to chose an Android based slate over an iOS based model.

The Galaxy Tab starts shipping along this month. Bu the end of this quarter, it should be globally available.
