In a race to acquire mobile advertisers, Yahoo has set its money on Japan based location based mobile advertising specialist Cirius.
The six-year-old company has clients like Excite and Mobage Town as well as many local advertisers that wish to attract consumers based on their locations. Though Yahoo already owns a network of mobile websites and apps, it is likely that it will keep offering advertising services to others as well to avoid loss of advertisers.
